The newf stole my homework…

I was busy trying to teach our kids (currently homeschool/online school-ing) as well as trying to get some other work done. The newf had been napping after our morning walk. She saw the opportunity I guess. From the corner of my eye I saw our big brown-eyed brown/white girl take off with something. She had that little glimps in her eye. I’m talking about that particular kind of look where she says “chase me, chase me!!!” I told her to “drop it” and she did, but it was too late. She had stolen some of my papers. They had been rolled up neatly to preserve space and I guess she just think it looked like a tasty stick or something. She stole it off the desk hutch though, it wasn’t just on the floor or anything. We recently moved and still need to get settled in some more and get organizing things. That should make the paper safer from the newfie…
