After much cleaning and organizing around the house, I finally found some time to paint again. The other day it was the pegboard as you might have read about and today it was the two collars I had ordered online. One of them for the newfie lady, the other one to put up for sale. Took some pics so here they are:

The one I painted (non toxic paints of course, both collars) for the newfie lady has some hot pink touch to it. The one coming up for sale on our Bonanzle shop is white paint, burgundy color latigo collar (22 inches).

Our little Missy is cute and a nice cat, but she as I think I said in an earlier post, does not care for other cats one bit. She does like dogs better than cats (not by much). I must say, that the new little Tigress is quite the diplomat in cat peace proceedings. The other day we caught her sitting next to Missy. There was no hissing, no pawing ninja kitties or any mean looks. They sat like that for a while, I got the chance to take this picture of it.

Tigress is very playful (she is still a young cat of course, being about 10 months old). Last night I caught her trying to wake up the newf to play. The newf, who usually doesn’t say no to playing, just looked at her and “said”: “Go back to sleep, you cat!”

I don’t always link to my Zazzle products in my post, but this time, I just have to link this tiger postage stamp, after all Tigress might not be as big as a tiger, but she does have her stripes.

Well, we have some progress in the newfie and cats friendship. Our lady newf and the kitty Tigress touched noses today with no hissing, barking or kitty paw swinging. Still, Tigress is a bit reserved, but they are starting to get to know each other. There is the other cat. She is 9, and we had her since she was a baby kitten. The newf has grown up with her, yet that cat hisses and does not like the newf very much. Today the newf snuck downstairs (where the cats were chillin’) and I heard barrrrrrrks. Oh great, I thought, and went to see what is going on. Little Tigress was sitting on the couch, just looking. Where was the newf? She was in another part of the downstairs, barking at the other cat.

Well, although the new kitty is trying to say hi to the newf, she is also still careful about the distance between them. Newfie is wanting to play and not realizing probably just how big she seems to the cat. It is going well at times though, I caught one picture I wanted to share.
